Heading east on the Trail, you will quickly find yourself at the Walkway Over the Hudson, a 1.28 mile elevated pedestrian bridge that spans the Hudson River, offering some of the most spectacular views in the Empire State. If you’re up for a challenge, how about hiking or mountain biking the trails on Illinois Mountain? With direct access from Mountainside Woods, the Illinois Mountain trail system includes over 5.5 miles of forested trails and switchbacks, ranging from easy to moderate for hikers and moderate to difficult for bikers.
